Absences

If your child will be absent, please notify 7O5 Athletics by either email or phone number at least 30 minutes prior to practice. If there is a planned absence please notify coaching staff as soon as possible via phone or email. Not notifying coaches will result in a non-excused absence. This includes late arrivals or early departures from practice.

For our recreational season, after a total of four absences that are non-excused, the athlete will be taken off our recreational team and replaced by a waitlisted athlete. For our competitive season, after a total of four inexcusable absences, the athlete will be taken off our competitive team and be replaced by a waitlisted athlete.

COVID Policy

Self-screening for symptoms as per Algoma Public Health prior to coming into the building will be encouraged. 705 Athletics will speak with APH in regard to back-to-play protocol for competitive athletes in the case of lockdowns. Practice restructuring may take place as needed, as well as having online practices in place of in-person.

Bullying Policy

At 7O5 Athletics we adhere to a strict no bullying policy. Bullying can be defined as any unwanted, aggressive that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated or has the potential to be repeated, over time.

If the event of bullying is deemed factual by the supervising coach, actions will be taken. These actions are verbal warnings and written warnings. However, if the bullying behaviour becomes a pattern in which the athlete is unable or unwilling to change they will no longer be able to participate in any 7O5 Athletics programs.

Every single occurrence of any negative behaviour will be dealt with on an individual basis.
